This premium quality T-shirt is made from 70% bamboo fibre and 30% organic cotton. The fabric is a 115 gsm fine jersey, and it is slightly sheer. Fabric made from bamboo fibre is incredibly soft, smooth and comfortable, and yet at the same time, durable and easy to care for. It quickly absorbs and evaporates moisture; it is highly breathable and cool in hot weather and keeps you warmer in the cold. Bamboo is antibacterial, so it stays fresher and odour free for longer.

Bamboo is a sustainable natural fabric. It is fast growing and requires no pesticides. The type of Bamboo used in this Da Londra T-shirt is called Moso and can grow up to 20 metres in just 45-60 days. Bamboo also regenerates itself after harvesting and, as it grows in tropical areas with natural rainfall, it needs no extra irrigation.

We have mixed the bamboo fibre in this T-shirt with 30% organic cotton to provide it with a better drape. Organic cotton is grown without the use of chemical pesticides and fertilizers. It is free from genetically modified organisms. Harmful and hazardous chemicals are prohibited in the processing of organic textiles. Under the organic standard, farmers and workers are protected by stringent social criteria, total traceability across the entire supply chain, and also by the ban on the use of poisonous chemicals that can severely damage their health.
